Denise Robichau is a Program Associate in Global Development and Population at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She provides administrative support to the director, including assistance with program-wide management. In this role, she replies to every inquiry directed to the program.
Denise joined the foundation in 2005 after moving west from Massachusetts, where she had worked for over 15 years managing grants for biomedical research organizations and hospitals.
She has a bachelor’s degree in newspaper journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a minor in Soviet and Russian studies. While no longer working in journalism, Denise still writes in short bursts of comedy, including essays in the Mug of Woe book series, and shares her better photos on Instagram. Very occasionally, she may also be found at storytelling events or nightclubs performing original stand-up comedy.
