With support from the Hewlett Foundation, Consumers Union has added communications capacity to its Energy and Environment Program. The program amplifies the consumer presence in clean energy, transportation, and climate debates, where policies to reduce global warming emissions can have large benefits for consumers, including cleaner air, energy price stability, and lower energy costs.

With funding from the Hewlett Foundation, Consumers Union will add communications capacity to its Climate and Clean Energy program. This added capacity will help Consumers Union engage more consumers and amplify the consumer voice in state and federal campaigns to reduce pollution from energy sources while lowering energy bills.
