Overview
The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) aims to bridge the gaps among research, policy, and practice by enabling use of evidence in government decision making around development challenges. During this grant period, AFIDEP will strengthen a culture of evidence-informed decision making among African governments. It will do so by addressing barriers to evidence use, providing practical evidence and technical assistance to help governments institutionalize the use of evidence, and advancing learning and networking among experts in this emerging field.
